Welcome to my Professional DossierI embrace a philosophy in which I strive for continual improvement of practice in order to construct a more culturally responsive, relevant, student centered, and antiracist curriculum. I recognize that my practice will only grow with the cultivation of an open heart in order to sincerely receive and embrace feedback from my students, peers, mentors, and within myself.
I develop instruction and assessments closely aligned to language performance and proficiency indicators and standards. A key component to classroom management and student success is to continually examine the larger archetypes of my students' cultures, and to work to know who my students are individually, as learners, and processors.
